I am looking to get a betta again after not having any for over a year. Before I get any I would like to know what people are thinking the best foods for them are. Bloodworms I know, peas too, but what other food/brand of food is best to create a balanced diet?

There's a few suggestions on another thread here by RUtoBLS - Bloodworms instead of pellets. A couple of brands suggested. Good luck with it, they're fabulous little fish!

I feed about 4 pellets (Hikari) in the morning, 7 or 8 thawed frozen blood worms (depending on the size) at night and a couple bits of thawed frozen shelled pea once a week. Some times I'll sub the blood worms for thawed frozen brine shrimp.

thanks for the replys. mostly what I was looking for was what brands people think are the best for pellets and why.
