i just wanted to give a little update since Kegans passing.
As i said before, the tank was a divided 10 gallon. Arwyn (crowntail) has no signs of illness, there is also an apple snail and two corycats in there, everyone looks perfect. Arwyn is enjoying the 10 gallon to swim lengths in and I wont divide it again.
The more I think of it, the more i dont think it was fungus. shawnie had said in another thread to me "as they age and pass on, they do get a tattered slime coat which can look white and fuzzy and they will clamp up when passing..its almost like a shut down at old age"

im leaning towards this.

anyways, just wanted to update that Arwyn is looking good
