oh lordy no! im so sorry for the loss of Alyosha..I know you loved her ....these sorority tanks really are scary sometimes...I just cant trust them and I hope things look up for you!!!

Thanks everyone...
all the other girls look fine. No rips or gill problems or anything. I guess it must have been some parasitic infection that got Alyosha, that'd explain the tattered fins and messed up gills.

Parasites in the gills are tough because most of the time you'll never see them. and the gills are just so fragile...
