Aqua-tech 5 gallon bowfront kits at wal-mart

Has anyone used these? I seen them the other day for about 30 bucks; about 10-20 bucks cheaper than the mini-bows and twice as much room.

It comes with a bio-wheel aqua-tech branded filter, as well as a light/hood fixture so the only thing I'd need to get would be a visi therm heather for another 15 dollars or so.

So, are these aqua-tech filters any good? I'm not expecting them to be like the penguin/aquaclears, but are they reliable/keep clean? Also, will the current be too strong for a betta?

I haven't seen walmart's 5 mini bow....cool.
I use aqua-tech 5-15 for 2 of my 10g's. and haven't had any problems.
I had to decrease the flow in Cami's (one of my bettas) 10g, other than that, they've been reliable, quiet and keep the water clean.

I've used those kits before. To my knowledge, they are actually made by Marineland and in my experience are pretty much the same quality for a better price.

Do you know if it's possible to change the light bulb it comes with? I'm wanting this tank to have more of a natural look, so I'm considering adding some live plants and want to make sure they'll be able to get enough light.
