10 Gallon Tank: sponge filter enough for a betta?

this weekend im picking up two 10g tanks so that i can take them out of their divided homes and give them more room. im going to have to buy new filters for each tank and i was hoping i could go with sponge filters.

would sponge filters be alright?

Sponge filters are great for bettas

They are perfect because their fins can't get stuck in them.

I use sponge filters in ALL my betta tanks.....Good choice!

I love my sponge filters! Use them whenever I can.

Sponge filters can work alright, but I'd get ones for a bigger tank, say 20g or so.
