I got a little girl a few days ago... she's all red with a clear spot with a tiny bit of pink in the middle on her bottom fin... not sure what to name her but she's a sweety. I'll put a pic of her on here asap

How do you get the girls to eat? I want to have some girl bettas too but each time I get a female they won't eat and slowly fade on me. They are more timid and sensitive compared to the boys and I don't know what to do. I want to be sure they would be okay before getting them again.

I have had the same experience with my older female, but she eventually learned to eat blood worms. Now she eats everything.

Gee I never had any trouble with mine eating...she is a little piggie...or at least she was....now she is a BIG piggie...lol. When I got her she was smaller than my neon tetras...now she is as big as a male and lives in a 36 gal with neons...glowlight tetras...harlequin rasboras....otos..and cory cats. Everyone gets along fantastic with no aggression or nipping at all. congrats on your new girlie.
