I thought I'd share this link to the International betta convention that is coming up on the 25th of this month....It is a "must go" if you live anywhere near Irving, TX! They will have all species of Bettas at this show including a huge wild set up....You would be able to see the best of the best at this show....Breeders from all over the world show here...

This show holds an auction where you can purchase show quality Bettas for a fraction of the price of Aquabid or Ebay....I'll be showing 3 of my males and 6 females at this show...I'll also be sending some for the auction...

I live in Dallas, Irving is maybe 20-30 mins away!! It would be great fun to go.

I couldn't tell, or I just missed it but is this something that anyone can go and walk around and just look?? I didn't see a cost to go an not be an exhibtor. thanks!!

I would say I'd go, as we have nothing like this in the UK. But I'm roughly, ooh, I dunno, 2000 miles away? Give or take...

I wish we had things like this...

Hopefully my parents can take me. It's just about an hour away. If I do go, will take pics!! Does it cost anything?? It said registration $145?? Is it to join or to go?

Fishrule, the $145.00 was to attend the seminars etc.. It should be free to just attend and observe..

Thanks Martinsmommy!! I would love to take my whole family and just walk around. We each have a betta, we've fallen in love with them. I think we'd have a great time.
