Three new bettas came to join my family and I feel the need to formally introduce them here
. I have also moved 5 of the bettas to their new 29 gallon divided, heated and filtered home.
First is my big VT-he is pale orange with pale red fin with some dots on his fins. He is really big in his cup compared to other bettas there. We named him ET. He also have some curled fins on the top fin but after having more space to swim, I see that the fin is less curled now? Not sure if my eyes is playing tricks on me. He came with some fin rot-easily taken care of after few days of clean water and med. He has already finished
QT and is currently in the 29 gallon divided.
Second is Cloud boy-another VT. I bought him after Wasabi left us
. I still miss Wasabi very much though and it still hurts to think of Wasabi. Cloud boy reminds me of Wasabi. Cloud boy is a beautiful boy with his cloud blue colour. He didn't came with much issue because I fell in love with him but is still under QT.
Third boy-a CT that I have gotten yesterday. He is still very much a baby with big tummy and looked like a big guppy as of now. He doesn't even look like a
betta! Poor thing has been shipped in to the store way too young and has been there for weeks and I see green yucky stuff in the bottom of his cup. He looked like he is going downhill if I don't buy him and his stress stripes are huge. In clean water, I could see some blue and a little brown already. I haven't named him yet and he is still in QT.
Here are some pics! Sorry about ET's blurry pic. He is extremely hard to photograph as he doesn't stop moving when he is near camera or he runs away from it lol.
