Well we got wifey all moved into her new apartment in Las Vegas this weekend. Cats and betta's weathered the ride and Hot weather with no ill effects. Those are some hardy little fish. They will be very happy now that they will have someone actually talking to them and not just feeding them.

Nothing happened to him he was just a flake....He said his Grnadma told him nobody came to the door...He wanted me to send her back out and I told him NO way! I refunded him the price of the fish....

It will be a while.................. Have to sell the house first. Going to put it on the market in a couple of months. In the meantime Jacq and I will be trading weekends to drive to see each other.................. Yeah the Spikemaster is with me only because Jacq want's it that way.

Still have the salty (although someone is suppose to buy it sat) and the puffers and the goldies and the KOI.......... As for the amazing part, we have always had a great marriage, this is just hard to be apart. We'll get through it.

This weekend will be one of the few that neither one of us will travel. Highway is crazy and Vegas is packed. She's coming this way next weekend. We are hoping we have a buyer for the store and she meets with him then to go over the finacials.

When my husband's job relocated my daughters were little, I stayed behind to sell the house and pack up.
We were apart for a couple of months, no visiting, he was working weekends and no way was I driving 12 hrs one way with preschoolers. lol
We flew to see him for a week when we went apt. hunting.

It's a tough adjustment being in two seperate states, but stay strong, it's only for a little while (I hope) then you've got the rest of your lives together.

Thank You................... We know all of this is for the best and will set us up for the rest of our lives. Fortunatly Vegs is 4 hours away unless I fly. That is pretty cheap for me but if I want to take Spikey, they want $100.00 each way My god he is no bigger than a carry on and wouldn't make a peep.

To be honest ... I haven't been to a local LFS in quite a while. I've taken to either 'rescuing' fish from chain stores (Petsmart, Petco, Wal-Mart) ... or ordering from Live Aquaria, etc.

A couple LFS.....

Fish Tropical (South Bruce St.) ... here are some reviews for Fish Tropical.....

I know all of the local shops and their owners. I prefer to deal with this shop, as they may not be the largest (in saltwater) but freshwater they are the largest, but their stock is the healthiest and the rarest. I love the rare color morphs that they have and the fair price they charge for all items. I would advise you all to always check this shop out first, as their selection, health of livestock, service personnel and pricing are second to none. I love this shop!"

Thank you for the kind thoughts. Things are going as good as they can be. This week is especially tough because roads are to busy for travel, so we don't get to see each other untill next weekend. We'll get through it.
