I Am Up to 7 now. Its really final! Stopping at that number!

So...yesterday I went to just take a "look" at the bettas and I saw 2 females that weren't doing well at all. One has lipstick and looked like snow white with big eyes and another a cellophane female I think so I bought them. The cellophane female didn't make it and I found her dead this morning so I took her back for an exchange and got a VT Dalmation boy instead with fin rot. He looks orange in the store but now he turned to pinkish and is on some medication. Hopefully he is not too far gone that he will make it. Good thing I have a new 29 gallon today!

So now I am up to 6 boys and 1 girl! The other girl whom I am thinking of naming her Snow White is VERY shy and timid and hides all the time. She still doesn't want to eat so I am really crossing my fingers for her.

You won't stop at 7. I have accepted that someday I will have more than 5.

I wish for a speedy recovery for your new additions.

I think the only way would be not go to the betta aisle at all. Just stay away from that area and you would be fine lol. I will have to stop going to anywhere that sells bettas for a while and focus on getting my new tank cycled and "furnished" lol and getting the new additions healed so that they can all live in the 29 gallon happy betta tank lol. It also seems that I always have better luck with male pets than with female pets fish or not fish.

I really have to stop! lol I don't even have resources to get a stand for my 29gallon! Its gonna sit on the carpeted floor. The height might be a good thing since I can sit on the floor and watch them lol.
