After the post earlier about what size tanks do you keep your betta in , guess what I went and got a crowntail and a 10g tank.. Now i'm in the dog house with the wife

As long as she gets to see the puppy dog eyes your betta will show when he wants you to feed him, all will be well.

My bettas always get me good with those eyes.

tomchitown, on the bright side, when I got my first betta my husband viewed it as just a fish. Then he got to calling her by name, Prissy. Then it was Pretty Prissy Fish.
It advanced to him waggling his fingers explaining to her which finger movements meant hello and which meant goodbye.
He noticed she liked to watch baseball, I knew he lost it when he pulled a footstool up to the tank, sat down and explained baseball to her.
