Hi All,

I have been looking around online and learning about Cherry Shrimp. They grow to about an inch and are peaceful tank inhabitants that help keep things clean. I'd like to know if they are a suitable tankmate for my betta? My newly remodeled tank has lots of hiding spaces and thick plantings ... would they stand a chance?

if it's heavily planted then they might be able to survive, and it also depends on the temperament of your betta. if he's fairly aggressive then they probably won't make it, but if he's pretty peaceful then they stand a decent chance. i'd try with ghost shrimp first though, they're a lot cheaper.
