hey everyone! Just wanted to post some pics of Jack's huge bibble nest he made the other day, I felt so bad because I had to mess it up when I cleaned his tank so I got some pics.

Heres a question: is there any connection between the size of a fish's bubble nest and thier agressiveness? just wondering...

your boy is awesome..and some happy from his nest but not that I know of size wise and agression of the nest....I have a very agressive boy who makes very small bubble nests...but I have a girlie who makes huge ones that just loves everybody LOL ...so I dont thiink so

hmm...well thanks for the reply, I just wondered because over the last few months he has become more agressive and his nests have been getting increasingly larger...

hes probably growing up more, in a better tank, loves his home, and looking for a gf!!

is there any other fish around him or beside him that he might be showing his "stuff" to?

no there isn't but my husband thinks it's funny to show him his bottle of food and watch him flare up at the picture of the fish on the bottle... don't worry I don't let him do it very often I know it can stress a fish out..

I find that my boys usually are more agressive when he has a nest to "defend".
