I'm weak...

Well I went to petsmart today hoping to get some meds and see if they had any CT females. While browsing I saw a betta struggling to hide behind the heater and being tossed around by the current in one of the display tanks. His fins were shredded. I felt so bad for the poor guy that I told the Lady to catch him for me. (Someone must have dumped him in there because she hadn't even known he was in there...) I'm not positive since there was no tag but I think that it was the pirahna tank...

MY Camera Battery is dead but I'll get pic's up for you guys soon.

I escaped the grasps of the betta though!

Although last night at the LFS they had a platinum plakat and a black/torquoise plakat that in my weaker days would have been irresistable.....

That's the best way to get a new pet IMO is to rescue a poor little sufferer and give him a better life.

I love stories like this

I can't believe they would do that! I'm glad you saved that betta. This is probably a better rescue than rescuing cup bettas. Although those ones are fine too. Can't wait for pics!

There may be one more by the end of sunday, Megan (Fernando's person if you recall the thread I posted on her behalf earlier) is going Betta shopping (RIP Fernando ) I've giving her one of my old 2.5's so she'll likely be getting two... I'm weak, I may fall in love...

Alright Fishlore, please put your hands (and fins) togeather for Tank!

I tried to get a good pic to show you all how BIG he is... he wouldn't cooperate. So I'll say this. He's in a 2.5 gal tank and the thermometer will hopefully give some perspective...

Thanks
His fins will need some TLC but he's settling in.

Also I think I may be developing a weakness for the blue cambodians. 3 out of 9 are and 3 others are just blue
