Mama, Mer and Nighthawk

Mer is finally back home and I've got a couple quick questions to ask you about him. Nighthawk is in his new tank and I thought it was going to feel sparse and empty but I'm actually becoming quite fond of it. I also finally got a pic him in almost full flare so I thought I'd commemorate it by posting as well. Mama ocourse is in her brand new tank (RIP Ray), and it's also the first tank that I've been able to actually phtograph her in so allow me to give you a proper presentation of Mama.
The pics will be in the following posts.

Mer

Now the questions. Anyone know a good cure for sticky fins? I'll keep looking but his are bad. Secondly I think that he may actually have a birth defect (fin wise at least) I'll point it out tell me what you think.
Here's my boy (hopefully he'll perk up some more now that I have him back here with me.)

Ok now I'm not sure but it looks like his anal and caudal fins are joined.(Circled in red.) I don't know if they were always like this or if it's just a result of the way that his fins have grown back. Anyone have any idea's?

Mama

I know Nighthawk was supposed to be next but his pics didn't turn out as well as I thought so I'll make another thread later after I've got some better pics just for him and the other boys.

May I present Mama in all her cuteness. Along with her constant breeding stripes. (She even had them in her cup in the store when I found her tiny little self in Wally world.)

Oh they are so cute! I love Mama especially. Very nice job on the tanks too.

When I got my male VT Ivan his fins were stuck a tiny bit like your Mer's, mine had a bit of fin rot too (not sure of Mer's history/details). I found that after a week or two in clean heated water with some stress coat and vitachem his fins healed right up, no meds at all. He's all better now, his colour got really intense too (looks like a little jewel!)

I got Mer near the beginning of december (there are some pics of him the day I got him floating around her somewhere). I wanted to give him some extra TLC over the christmas break so I took him home with me. However Grandpa wasn't doing so great so we made a flying trip down there and Mer ended up staying at home. I just got him back yesterday. I think his fins may have back slid a little bit in my parents TLC but hopefully there's a way to nurse them to regualr betta gorgeousness.
