My mom disagree's with me about taking my 15g and getting a divider for two bettas.What would convince her to this great idea.

There are some pretty big problems with divided betta aquariums. We've had a few different members swear that they would never do it again when one of their bettas jumped over or dug under the divider and killed the other.
I think PinkFloydPuffer is currently missing a fish because of just such an instance.

Personally, I wouldn't do it, but that's as much because I don't really pay attention to detail, so I would likely leave a corner of the divider bent in or something like that. Just my opinion.
