I know a bubble nest isn't anything new but this is Nighthawks FIRST! His last tank the surface wasn't still enough but in his new home he has secretly built the best bubble nest I've ever seen one of my boys make! It's really cute to. I mean CT's are supposed to be supper agressive but Nighthawk rarely flared. Now that he has his nest though is is letting the world know it's "his" tank. I mean my other boys make a bubble nest no big deal. But Highthawk has to have all his fins flared to the maximum to make his. Silly boy. At least I know that he likes his new home.

Thanks MM. Now if only Puberty meant fin growth we're set. When I got him (like 2 months ago) his fins looked pretty much exactly like they do now. Hopefully the 5 gal will give him conditions that he likes better so I can finally say that I really do have a CT.

I was worried how he'd take moving from the 2.5 to the 5 but he's been a champ! Took to that tank like he know it was always supposed to be his, (which it was until I had to do an emergency switch for the Cory's).

Wow that bubble nest has turned nighthawk into a mad man. He's racing around the tank trying to "challenge the snail" then races back to add more bubbles and primp then back out to try and scare the snail.

Sir Elton has tried to make a bubblenest, and gotten a few little ones, but nothing big so far. I think the filter's a little too strong to allow for a full bubble nest- *heartily tempted by my LFS's newest deal- a ten gal w/ all equipment for $50*

Awesome Red...Kenya hasn't ever made a bubble nest but he has lots of flow in there so I'm thinking that has something to do with it....Congrads..It he looks really happy in his new home!!!!
