I was at petco buying a 10g for my guppies. I went over to look at gravel, and over heard a lady and her kids picking out a betta. I heard her say she wonders if she can keep females in the same tank. Sharing my knowladge of fish care, I told her no. Soon her they picked out a beautiful pure white male betta. Then they were picking out a tank. She was looking at the little jail cell known as betta bowls. Well, I already looked at goodwill for a tank, so I told her about the tanks I saw. The whole time, thanks to her, I had the desire to get another betta. Worse yet, I knew I shouldn't.

I am really shy, so I don't usually say anything unless somebody asks my advise, but every time I go to the LFS I find myself wanting another betta Did you give in and buy one?

No, I don't have room right now. Some day I might convince my parents to set up a 5g in the living room, or at least make more room.
