I went to the fish store to pick up a beautiful white veil betta today that i saw the other day, but alas, he was no longer there. I had a feeling about him. My beautiful, heated, filtered and empty tank will have to stay that way for at least another week. Has this happened to anyone before?

Oh, I'm so sorry he was gone. Hopefully he went to a wonderful home. Don't worry, you'll find the right one for you.

Don't forget to feed the tank so you don't lose your cycle.

Hopefully,but I fear he's not in a good home. I'm not worried about losing the cycle anymore, I put my zebra danios on the other side(divided tank) in the meantime.

lol. Betta madness. And for the record I've had a few of those escape me. The ones I felt worsest about though were a trio of splendid rainbows. sigh. so pretty... But like they say there's more fish in the sea. lol.
