well hurricane ike passed over a while ago. im still out of power but i came to update you guys on my bettas. both are doing good but there battery air pump is going bad on me the motor is giving out but other than that they are happy. rusty is swimming around alot he seems to have healed well. ok time for bad news three trees in my backyard are broken and uprooted my fence is gone and one of our trees almost hit my parents room. other than that im good im safe and everyone is ok here.

I can remember Hurricane Juan like it was yesterday. The first bad one I have ever experienced.

THERE you are! I've been worried about you, Morgan. I'm so glad to hear you, your family and your finny friends are okay. We still have no power either, but our house took no damage and we just lost a few crepe myrtles. I can't believe the pine trees made it!

Thanks, jdhef. It is touching to have so many people here concerned about us. We are fine and so are the fish, for now.

I'm a bit of a scaredy-mouse and I bolted Friday afternoon when the rain started. Feel free to call me a coward, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat! The eye of the storm passed frighteningly close to my home and my area got hit much harder than expected. Lots of downed trees went through roofs in The Woodlands.

I'm still in Dallas, but will probably go home tomorrow. It looks like I have a lot of mess to handle.

i totally forgot about this post lol. well im gald to hear from you to mouse we have three trees down our fence is gone thats about it. my brother ditched us for some electricity up in the woodlands around tuesday. and im glad to that my bettas are doing excellent the male is alot happier all of a sudden its awesome
