More dragon pix

Hera and Zeus are doing good. I think they like each other. I had BB on the side of the tank Zeus's tank is one with a piece of back ground so they cannot see each other.
I removed it and Zeus was NOT interested in BB one bit. This made me wonder what he'd do if he could see Hera. SO I put her on BB's side and BB on hers.
Waited for them to settle and removed the background.
Zeus started showing off and flirting. He flared for her and she tried for him. What difference. I guess my boy is picky and knows that BB isn't a dragon. And I thought males would breed with anything, our species does. LOL
Here they are a day later.

Yup...both born 8 months ago.
They have double tail in their genes, so if they spawn, I could get some double tail dragons. I am not a huge fan of the double tails but I gotta start somewhere. There parents were from the same lady who bred Casper.
I learned something interesting the other day. If a parent isn't perfect looking, doesn't always mean their fry will have the same imperfections look wise, in fact they could be better looking than their parents.

To breed offspring that is better than the parents is the reason we bred dogs for 25 years.......Each generation gets better and better....This should always be the goal of a breeder is to keep the best and sell the rest.....

I knew they had to be siblings, they look identical!

The only way to go with betta breeding...especially if you want to keep them true red dragons.
Tho I would like to know how people are getting the purple intheir betta. I have been dying to find a purple one or one with red, black and purple. I wonder what would happen...if I got some royal blue HM to breed with the dragons.

That would be cool. The red dragons have double tail genes...so If I tried a blue mask with them...I wonder what would happen.

I can't argue! What is it they say...? If you want to impress a man, do the following:

1. Show up
2. Bring beer

I see more fishnapping is planned. Maybe you guys shouldn't post so many gorgeous pictures!
