He isn't doing well...it's like he can't sink. I have treated him with everything anytime he showed symptoms of anything I have treated it. He just finished a treatment for fin rot. Fins are better, but he looks odd.
I think I may look him over the weekend if not by morning.
These dang parasites are nasty.

Yeah, this is what happens when you don't quarantine new fish. For 2 yrs we hardly had any issues, now we are dealing with it all at once. Very disheartening.

I really can see that JB is on his way out. Faded, still floating at the top.
Last night I thought he was gone, but he was just floating on his side.
I was ready to net him and he took off. Freaked me out.
Gosh I hate watching them die. And I am getting sick of it frankly.

Thanks Karen. At least I know why this is happening, and how to prevent it from happening again.. A few month ago...I was baffled.

Poor little JB. It sounds like swim bladder problems.

Yup it sure does. The c.worms have gotten in is system and may have messed up his swim bladder. He has been exposed exactly 5 months today & he isn't a young guy to begin with.
He is a fighter tho...he keeps looking up at me trying to stay in one position long enough to see me. He swims for a second and then is still again. And he isn't eating today.
