We had a little change in housing around here over the weekend...We changed Barney to the hex in the living room at Anberlins request.....He was hiding all the time in the 10 gallon and she asked if he could move into a smaller tank like the other boys....SO......I switched Lenox and Barney.....

Barney is way happier and far more interactive in the hex tank......He is in the living room instead of the bedroom now and he has come completely out of his shell......He comes right up to the glass when Anberlin comes around and just plays with her...It is the CUTEST thing ever!

They are both adorable!!! I love those pictures and the love that they are showing for each other. I am never ceased to be amazed that all animals recognize small children as special. Even the fish. Some of them interact very well with children and especially when they are taught to be quiet and gentle with them. I am guessing that Anberlin has had a lot of experience around the tanks and knows just how Granny wants her to treat the fish.

She is special and so is her Granny.

Thank you everyone for your nice comments about Anberlin and Barney...It is really a blessing to watch her interact with the little finbabies....She has been my little pride and joy for 3 years now....She is definetely her Grandmas girl....

I will be posting later this morning what is going on with her...Anberlin will be moving out soon....I just got the news this weekend.....I'm completely devistated....I'll post details in a while....

her moving out is going to be sooo very hard.I remember when payton moved out with her parents...crushed me!! but I also remember, it really showed me what a grammie was like to visit her often or her me instead of waking up to her daily...we are all here for you !!

Thank you Shawnie....I know you understand what I'm about to go through...I'm excited to become a Grandma to Annie but sad to watch her leave....It's 400 miles to CA. so I won't be able to see her that often.....(crying)

No, Barney is staying with me..I may transport him out there when the weather cools off...I may just end up buying her another one when I go to visit..We'll just have to see what happens..
