His finnage is THE most perfect that i have EVER seen in a betta!!!!!!!!!!! But his mouth, top lip is fading away!!! HE is happy, VERY lively, zipping about, eating well etc and is still growing!!! SO i have started treating his tank with Sera Baktopur( contains meth blue that C Waterchanger advised), i used it to treat Sky's fin rot with fab results and it is for mouth rot too so wish us luck.

I'm trying to get pics to show you all for advice and to help others but he is a minx and loves to pose and hide!!!!

He is still full of beans, zipping about, eating and mouth no worse!!! I sent an email to Sera products in Germany and THEY REPLIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Told me how long to use Baktopur and suggested another product if i have no joy!!! So impressed!!! ( i used to live in Germany so pleased they replied!!!)

I'm doing all i can for him and he is full of life. His fins are fab!!!!! Hope they stay so good!!! It's 04:15am and i'm in work, i SOOOOOO want my bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad. That is really the mark of a good company. They care about the people they are selling to and the animals and fish they are making products to treat or they would not have bothered. API does this too.

I'm glad to hear that he's such a happy guy. Sometimes, all we can do is our best to make them happy and care for their needs and they'll live happy lives despite something we wish they didn't have.

i am thinking it may be just his make up!! As he was SO tiny and young when we got him!!! He is eating, happy and full of life!!!! That is all that matters!!! Our poor SKY was too, his fins were always a mess as he was in with tetras and they never grew back but he was happy.
