Happy Store Betta!!
Oh, my little LEMON BOY is the HAPPIEST BETTA BOY!!!
He's loves his store and watching all the pretty girls walk by 
When me or the staff is at the desk he WATCHES US INTENSELY 
the girls say they don't feel alone in the store, cuz he's always WATCHING.
i finally got some good pics of him  
when i give him KISSES, he responds by blowing bubbles!! he's the cutest thing ever!!!
one bizarre story, a little girl came in with her mom, and they were looking at the betta, and the mom says, "what's the fishies name?" and the little girl says, "LEMON!"
the mom and Jenna look at each other and both confirm that they have never been in the store before and no one has ever told the girl the fish's name before.
so the mom says, "how did you know his name was LEMON?" and the girl says, "He TOLD ME!"  how CUTE is that? he talks telepathically to kids!!!!

He's not as fancy as your beautiful betta boys Karen, but gosh he has the cutest personality!!
He likes to play Hide an Seek too! He'll hide in a leaf or something, all the while peaking out at you. when you say "I SEE YOU!!" and wiggle a finger at him, he swims out and blows a bubble, then goes find another hiding place!
pretty good for a little guy that was sitting in a dirty cup with barely an inch of water in it, no lid, and filled with dirt and scum  |

Hes such a lovely boy... Congrats!
for a long time I thought of ordering a betta of aquabid or something like that... but no, I will rescue one of those poor beautiful babies at the murder chain-pet stores.
whats killing me is the color!!!! I dont know what I want! I have thought for a yellow betta for a long time though, they are gorgeus!

from the very beginning, i wanted a yellow one. before i had even ever SEEN a yellow one. i just kept looking till i found one. 
YELLOW is one of the HOTTEST colors this season. in accessories, shoes, clothes, etc. I did a whole radio show on yellow! and i've made more money on YELLOW this spring summer, than on any other color.
the minute Rick said we could get a betta, i said YELLOW ONE!!!
well we found Royal Blue first, and then the rest, and THEN Lemon, i just had to make room for him. i originally designed the store tank to go with Rainbow's colors and Lemon was going to stay at home in the divided with Ace. But they didn't get along, so Lemon got moved to the store tank.
he seems happy there and i'm happy too!! |
