So I noticed Dietrich chasing some tiny floating white stuff in the tank last night but it was gone before I could see what it was...so I decided to sit and watch for a while... and then I saw her expel some eggs It was so cool to see her do it (never saw this before)but then she was eating them and I wasn't sure if that was normal or if she could be hurt by it (bloat or something)Anyway I tried making a video of it and am trying to get it to download right now so I can share it with you all Has anyone else seen this?Should I be worried about her?Any comments would be greatly appreciated!!!

If they produce eggs but don't mate, then it's normal for them to absorb or expel the eggs. Does she regularly see a male? That could be why she's producing eggs.
I've never seen that because I don't have any girly goos.....I have been keeping my eye out for the right one and will soon own a little Betta daughter....I want a halfmoon pink or royal blue......
That was an interesting video...She is cute....Thank you for sharing....
Like CO said when she produces eggs and she does not spawn then she will abort them. Depending on how many eggs she has eaten I recomend giving her peas to help make sure she does not get constapated witch can occure with her eating to many eggs.
Nice video she looks t\like she is realy happy. Qute little girl
I had to share, I just thought it was cool... none of my other girls have ever done that ,that I saw I will give her peas tonight as I would normally give all them peas every saturday anyway Bishop is her current tankmate, but he has never built a bubblenest Would that be a problem?
It's not really a problem, but you might want to change who's on the other side of the divider or move her to a tank of her own... to avoid the risk of her becoming egg-bound.
