I have decided that the Sorority Tank will be no more
For a few reasons,
First, and maybe I'm being selfish but my girls just don't act the same since they've been together,they act more like guppies (no offence to those with guppies), I miss there individual personalities
Second,Ever since I removed Vasquez when she was ill they all seem more nippy with each other I think she was the boss
Third,I was afraid I was over feeding them this way because they would attack there food with such gusto it was hard to tell who had how much and I don't want to risk bloat with any of them
At least I can say I tried and as wonderful as it was watching them interact with each other I miss them interacting with me
So that's my story and I'm sticking to it (LOL)

Where will they all go? Do you have seperate tanks set up for the girls? I'm too chicken to even do a divided tank that's why I have 7 seperate tanks running and that doesn't even include my salt tank....

I know what you're saying about the personalities....I think they crave our attention when they are alone....(maybe I'm needy) lol

Yes I think it's best...I have them set up like this for now...
2.5 ga Ash (new boy)
2.5 Dallas (a little ragged looking)
5 ga Divided Dietrich/Ripley
5 ga Divided Bonnie/Lambert
10 ga Divided Clyde/Hick's
10 ga Divided Bishop/Spunkmeyer
Until I get my new tanks this weekend which I will seed with decor,filter media,Gravel from their current tanks My Girls are much smaller than my boys and I think they will be Ok if only for a little while,I don't mind the divided tanks, as long as I have a hard time moving the divider I know they can't

LIke you said shell, only you can decide whats best...and I think you have valid reasons why...you would always wonder "what if" if you didnt try it...now you know your babies do better alone..as well as it makes you feel better

also, for future cases, I keepp extra sponges in my established tanks so that if I ever have a case of MTS or an emergency, I have already seeded media...it really helps ...goodluck with your babies

Yea, I love their personalities and it's one of the reasons none of our Bettas have any tankmates.

Yes and after the disaster this week with my tanks all my betta will be in their own tanks as all the additional fish will go into the large tank and the rest of then tanks will be betta tanks only.

Thanks everyone.
I did have a couple of sponge type filters running in the Sorority Tank (just in case)
I just ordered my bookshelf tank I just have to decide who going to go where now (LOL) 8 tanks and 10 Betta'sI also just ordered a divider for the 29 high (just in case)LOL
It's funny, I can see the difference in the girls personalities already And at least I know I tried... I don't think I would ever do it again, they are happier on their own!And it's easier to monitor there health this way I think
