What a surprise!
First off I am not home...so no pix until later. 
I got his guy who looked black silver and white, got him home the colors popped.  I found the most amazing HM betta...last one until I get the gold cts maybe. Anyhow...he is black, white, blue/turquoise, red, & irridesent scales. Close to my fantasy betta. I truly lucked out with this guy.

The same place I got Felix and Sunny. I was so surprised to find his pattern.
BTW..I am not going near that store again until all those delta tails and half moons are not there. 
I found a 10g for $10 on a for sale site. Going to pick that up after supper.
They had one little half moon female in a tank with some catfish and loaches. I had to get my backside out of there. I started asking questions about her, thank god the fish guy was helping someone else.
I would have had him netting her to go.  If she is still there I MAY go get her. I have to set up some more tanks.
I am definitely focusing on betta now. Learning as much I can about them. I want to try breeding just once to as a learning experience.

Oh noooo, now what does Allie have you thinking? You've got to watch her, you know. First she has you expanding your betta family like crazy, taking tons of pictures (a very good thing), but what's next? Steve asking why you're saving up all those big jars?

Or perhaps Steve wouldn't notice a new Chihuahua. Then again, he might notice and mistake him/her for a new apricot toy poodle. I mean, if he could mistake a betta for a goldfish ... 
Steve just spoils you and lets you be spoiled!
Again, watch out for Allie's bad influence. She even called this thread "What a Surprise." Surprise at Allie acquiring yet another new and gorgeous betta? Indeed.

hes amazing. that always hapens with fish. they look ok or just different so you get them. then once there settled in they show there true colors
