Female Betta in Community tank update!

So i got up the nerve to put my new female in my community tank.
SHES DOING WONDERFUL! hahaha, i'm kind of excited.

I sat in front of the tank for about half on hour with a net ready to get her out if anything happend, and theres nothing so far!

She's been eating and swimming with the other fish, and no flareing or agression so far.

I'll update you guys again later!

Glad it's working out, but don't ever let your guard down. A few folks have had success for months, only to find that some miniscule thing triggers aggression.
Usually, though, if it's going to get messy, it does pretty quick, so her chances are looking decent.

She's actually swimming around with my tetras.

I wonder if she thinks she's one of them!

Bettas are interesting fish and their personality makes it hard to predict what they'll do. I think keeping an eye on her for any sign of stress or damage, but hopefully she's a very mild-tempered one.

Holly is still happy today too. With 3 diamond tetra and 3 otos.
