By the way, for those of you who don't know them: Buddy is the pinkish veiltail, Sparticus is the peach crowntail, Zeus is the black crowntail, Bubbles is the blue and red crowntail, and Dusty is the orange half moon recovering from finrot.

LOL. Yea, we love them all equally and even though we have a favorite, they each get to think she/he is the favorite Betta.  They're such jealous little characters.

I know what you mean! The divided tank situation makes it worse, because if I am playing with one of the bettas, the one on the other side of the divider gets ****ed!!! For all they know, their world just revolves around them |

Love your photos MissMTS I am partial to Zeus as well, I usually dont see an all black Betta around... He is gorgeous!
I know what you mean about the dividers and attention to each lil guy. My Glory sulks away in a corner if he thinks he's being left out lol... He is the only one that does that haha.. silly guy! |

Thanks Kate! Yeah I think Zeus is really different looking. You can't see it in the pics but when he flares he has a glittering blue color running through his tail. Bettas are such jealous creatures. When I give Sparticus attention, Zeus starts ramming the divider!!!

That is a beautiful little family of bettas!!  I see those pics and I wonder how long I will take a break from buying/rescuing more bettas!!!
When I had Shy-lo's tank butted up against the "little fish" (rasbora/hi fin tets) and I would feed them first, he went nuts...Me first, me first.
God, I love them all!!

I have a feeling your break will be a lot shorter than you think. Some little bugger will catch your eye when you go to the store and you will just need to buy him! My bettas do the same thing when I feed them. The two 10 gallon tanks are side by side on my bookshelf and once I start feeding one betta the others go ballistic. Its pretty funny cause I'll drop the food in their tank and they will be so focused on the food in the next tank that they won't notice their own |

LOL.. they are something, huh? Rocky is beside the wild betta tank and goes nuts when he sees the bloodworms falling into their tank.
