Yearning for MTS

I was at Walmart looking at their Bettas, and they had the most gorgeous girl. She was black, with a bit of red in her tail. She was TINY. And from the looks of it, a crowntail, and maybe even a double. I sooo wanted to take her home. But alas, I have no room in my apartment for another tank, or the funds to purchase one. Its so hard seeing beautiful bettas, and not being able to take them home!!!

I have to disagree =)) I desperately want more fish but can't have more right now. I even have another tank and a free 20L whenever I want it (I love my grandmother-in-law) but I have been told under no certain terms that I can't get that tank until we move into a bigger place (our apt manager won't allow more than I have) and More fish vs. a safe place to live and a roof over my fishes heads, sadly, i have to choose, to not get more. In the mean time I sit and dream of more and more fishes.

So April, I feel your pain. Dream on and one day you will be free to let MTS run rampent =))

I started with a 10 gallon with tetras (not including all the goldfish over the years).....acquired a 5 gallon, so of course had to put a betta in it.
Decided the tetras need more room, got a 20 gallon (no lid or accessories), found a deal on a 30 gallon (for less than a hood, filter and heater would cost for the 20 gallon)

Prissy, the betta is getting the 10
Tetras are getting the 30
but hmmmm...then I'll have an empty 5 and ya never know, I might just find hood for the empty 20......

and so it begins.....

Sounds like a real little beauty.. maybe there's room for a 2.5g minibow tank?

She was soo pretty. But it isn't going to happen. I just have to hope that she goes to a good home, with someone who knows how to treat her right.

That's 1 reason I don't like to go looking at the Bettas.. it's so hard not to bring them home. I hope that pretty girl gets a good home too.
