Ok same old post re finrot, i'm just gutted at how aggressive it is being with Sky. I'll post a pic. His tail has broken down more within the last 2 hours. I don't want to lose him, he's funny and bubble building at the moment. Ok It's 3am, i'll change the water and try to post a pic. This makes me feel ill, it's too quick.

well only seachem paraguard and vitamins at the moment. Alot of UK meds are too harsh for bettas. I will get some more meds later ( 4:30 am at the mo here) I'm just shocked at the speed at which it is destroying the boy!! He is happy, no idea that he looks dreadful!! He is Olympic standard bubble nesting as i type!!!

I'd try to treat him with an antibiotic and anti-fungal product at the same time, if need be. On US meds, I would use Triple Sulfa and an organic herbal anti-fungal product called Rid-Fungus.

Will one of you please start marketing US meds over here!!! I can't get antibiotics!! He looks a mess but is oblivious to it. He has never had good finnage since i got him home. BUGGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DON'T want to lose him, i have a real soft spot for this fiesty guy.!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHH fish keeping is NOOOTTTTT a peaceful hobby!!!!!!!

For Triple Sulfa, you might use one of these:

Interpet #9 (Anti Internal Bacteria)
Kusuri Sabbactisun
Waterlife Myxazin
JBL Furanol

but the best sounds like:
Interpet #8 Anti Fungus & Finrot - I think you're using that now, aren't you?

Dave i am not keen on interpet stuff after watching 'Blue eyes' fit and die 6 mins after adding it! I've just bought a German product. I used to live there and i know how much they hate chemicals. ( i had severe bronchitis once and was prescribed herbal tea, i was very very ill for weeks!!! I did get antibiotics in the end but lungs still scared)

I have Sera Baktopur. I already use Sera Fishtamin. A great product!

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with any of those meds since we can't get them here. I wish you could get Rid-Fungus there.
