I noticed this bubble nest in my tank this morning while I was feeding my Betta fish "Will" He is in a 60 gallon tank alone....Does this mean he wants a wife? .. I grabbed my camera and took this photo....It's not the best but I found this fascinating !!

This basically means that he's ready to breed. He doesn't need a wife (actually, in this case, "mate" is a better term, since after breeding, it's best to get the female away from the nest, if I'm remembering things correctly)

WOW gorgeous Betta boy!! Mine 2 boys have been making their nests too. If you listen really well you can hear them making bubbles. Tiny little popping sounds. So cute.

He looks like he's got more fins than the average betta! I've never seen a dorsal fin like that one. And his eyes are huge! Must mean his stomach is bigger too, and he gets more food...

Oh wow he's dreamy!! Just beautiful fins.. I saw my boy pop out a couple of bubbles yesterday.. he couldn't decide where to eat or bubble. He chose bubble.
