It very well could be that. It is hard to see him right now (he is in a not so see through rubbermaid container until tomorrow). I will have to check it out more closely tomorrow when he gets to go to his 10 gallon home.

Well the boys got moved last night, I got bored and decided to get everything set up for them early. Both tanks are in my room, as I have run out of surfaces to put tanks in the living room at the moment.
I took pictures, then my battery died on my digital camera, so I'm waiting for it to finish charging and I will load them on here.

Kiz's tail suddenly turned back at the edge and he's now having a real tail growth spurt!! So maybe it's true.

So long story short, I've been insanely busy with school lately (darn college, making me study and do papers and stuff!) and my digital camera is not currently working, so I won't be able to post pictures until I figure out what's wrong with it!

But the two new bettas are doing great in their tanks! My daughter gets to pick names for them, so she named one Rainbow because he has a variety of colors on him. She has yet to come up with name for the other one, as I refused to let her name that one "betta" too!

The poor little guy needs his own name. Although as he has settled into his tank, he has turned almost the same colors as Betta (fins are just a tiny bit lighter)

You could do the Greek Alphabet.. you know Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Omega, Kappa, (not in the right order I know). How about Alpha?

After all you already have a Beta (Betta).

Cute idea! If you go that route, be sure to save the name Delta for a Super-Delta.
