Congratulations
If you don't have them already, you need to get the supplies to hatch baby brine shrimp now. In a few days they'll be free swimming and need to be fed. I usually start right with baby brine, but a lot of people start with smaller food for the first week, and add the baby brine after. Do you have any live food cultures such as microworms or vinegar eels? If not, you can use a tiny amount of boiled egg yolk. I have never tried this, so you should probably google it and see how others do it, but from what I understand, normally you take a pinch, mix it in a small amount of water, and add a few drops to the tank. It's really easy to overfeed with it, which will foul the water and kill the fry so best to be very careful with amount.

Pandora is correct on the egg yolk method. Very easy to overfeed, fouls water greatly, and remanents of the feeding (remaining yolk bits) need to be syphoned out around 3-12 hours after feeding or they encourage bad bacterial growth.

They can have up to 500 in the right conditions...but not with first timers usually. Most people lose their first batch. Betta babies are hard to care for.

I am not sure the females seems to always have eggs, but after they do the embrace, the male puts em in bubble nest I think it's 3 days until you see them swimming around.
Here an article about it.

If you are going to do it right, preventing the male and the female from getting unnecessary damage, and giving each of the more or less 400 fry a good home, yes... it is hard and expensive.
