Female betta with eggs
Before I rearranged Faye's tank today, my father said he noticed some white balls floating around. I figured, great - I did end up with snails (still no signs of snails so I think I'm good). But after I got everything settled and moved Faye back to her tank (she swims right into her betta cup and just looks so happy sitting on the table watching me - like she knows I'm trying to spoil her) I noticed the white balls my father mentioned myself. They're eggs, she keeps swimming behind the heater and dropping about 10 every 15 minutes or so. I've been watching her for the past two hours and she just keeps gobbling the eggs up. I believe I've read that fish can be rather sensitive to weather conditions and this is the first all night/day heady downpour rain we've so I'm just wondering if it does have anything to do with it. I haven't read much about any of it since I'm not interested in breeding bettas so I wasn't expecting anything of the sort. Please tell me its normal and that she's perfectly alright. I don't see any reason to worry but just incase.
