As much as I have been reading up on breeding betta...I am still not confident enough that we can handle the amount of fish to separate eventually. NOW if we had our own house with lots of room, I'd feel better about it.

Yea, it's so much work. If we ever do a Splendens breeding though, I think a key would be the design and construction of a sump-driven modular tank system.
