Hey everyone,
i just wanted to say thank you for everyone that helped me with advice about how to get my 2 bettas and my sisters betta moved to our new house. the move went great!! we first took my sisters betta, Calamarrie, to the new place and got him set up. that went fine. then we took my 2, Oscar and Skip, that went even better!! Me and my BFF had some problems getting them into their tanks though. sad to say Skips bag got dumped out and he fell to the floor!!! hes just fine though so dont worry..... he was a bit confused after it first happened but hes been fine now for the last 5 days after his fall. we got him back into the water right away. my BFF grabbed him up and luckily for him we had a tank already set up for him to go in!! thank God!!!! hes been just fine - no cuts no bruises, no obvious injuries and hes eating and swimming and playing. so i would say hes just fine!!! i will post some pics as soon as i can. well again thank you all so much for all the help!!! you are all great!!!

Good to hear from you Miley.. we were just thinking today about you and your move and wondering how it went. I'm glad your friend was quick to grab up Skip and i'm sure he's happy now. Those things happen, but you did really good moving them and i'm glad to hear they're all moved in and happy. i hope you're all moved in yourself, too.

I'm so glad that your move was successful. My Husband and I will eventually be moving hopefully before the yr is over. We have to sell our condo first. Hopefully it won't be too much of a pain to juggle everyone. Natalie

I agree with Dave, that photo of your betta sure looks like a 'stinker'.. LOL... hes got attitude! heheh.... but oooo soooo pretty he is!

Hey Kate -thnx!!!! its good to be back!!! ya Oscar definitly has an attitude!!! he think hes the greatest!!! hes good with little kids too though (lol) we had a little 2 year old named Lilly over and i sat her up on the counter by oscars tank and she was putting her finger agains the tank and oscar was bitingthe tank - she loved it!! and she liked when he jumped too!!!! lol Miley

I gotta say that of all the fish species.. the Betta has the most interest in contact with people that I have seen. Tho the Angel fish have to come in second with me, lol.. how they watch behind the glass when I walk by just waiting for the waitress to bring them their next meal, even if its only been minutes since they last ate! But boy do they really watch everything thats going on, just like the Bettas!

Bettas seem to be made to interact with us. Even the pair of wild mahachai bettas that we got are starting to show a little interest in getting attention and have learned when and where the food comes into the tank.
