Those are such beautiful Bettas. I love the yellow male and the red & while male especially. I love all Bettas of course, but I really like the crowntails.
the best of show winner at the betta show we went to last month was a deep yellow.. and a yellow female was the most expensive fish in the auction. They're real beauties.
They definitely have that edge. I saw the most gorgeous pale white with brown fins betta at our local hardware store (don't ask... yes, they do sell fish). For some reason, they're totally hopeless at the whole art of fish keeping, but they always get the most beautiful fish. Same for their mollies.

Yeah, it'll be huuuge bachelor houses with unhealthy diet (no veggies, just wrigglies). Oh, and they'd have one gazillion bridges because there's no wife there to refrain them from being silly!

lol.. and a dozen rooms for bubble nests with a dozen females.
Wow...#1: There are some darn pretty Bettas out there. #2: I would have never guessed there was an auction site for fish stuff...and #3: as pretty as some of those fish are...I'll have to go back to Wal-mart and rescue another.........
i did like halfmoons best, but have found myself liking combtails and doubletails more now, especially since we found Mickey.. and i'm growing fond of wild bettas.
