Re: beeta food

My betta refuses to eat flakes but I think I've spoiled him .. he eats freeze dried daphnia, freeze dried bloodworm and some micro pellets for tropical fish by a company called Hikari.
Good luck!

Re: beeta food

Not to be harsh or anything, but for pete's sake, give your Betta something more interesting than flakes (would you like to eat Wheaties for for every meal?). Most flakes don't have enough protien, anyway. Unless you are prepared to raise live food, freeze dried brine shrimp and bloodworms is the way to go. There's a great site, www.bettatalk.com, that tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about Betta care.

Re: beeta food

Bit harsh dude. She said they get bloodworm and daphnia anyway. Dont know what the flakes are made from your way but european regulations force the manufacturers to give a variation of flake contents in each pot and also make them crammed with nutrients. We could live of flakes if we needed to!

Fletch, I was talking to usmc1. Miss Mouse is doing fine. Didn't mean to sound harsh--guess I just think of those fishies first
