Well As I stated in my other post " I found RJ" I emailed miami aquariums and they emailed me back today. They gave me a list of colors they have for the CT. They have 2 purple butterfly CT with white heads, so I since I didn't see them on ebay I emailed them back & asked if they could send me pictures of them. As I am typing I just received an email from them in which I will be checking so I must go. I will let you know what they say. Natalie

Well I think I may have found one. It's as close to Royell as I'm going to get. He has the red on tips of his fins. The only real difference is he has a white head instead of a yellow head, but that's OK. He's beautiful. Here is a pic. I hope it comes up. Natalie

Awesome! I am so glad that you found another one. I hope this shipper is better than the other one. Maybe you can explain to him/her what you just went through so that he/she will be extra careful.

Oh trust me they already know. I told them about that in my very first email to them. All of Roses Betta's are from them excpet for one. So she loves them. If she can trust them I can trust them because I trust her. They seem to be very nice to deal with. Natalie

Well I officially have another RJ again. I bought him last night and they are sending him overnight Friday so I can receive him Saturday. I can't wait. I am so excited! I'm more excited about this one then I was about my last one because I know this one will be alive and well when he shows up. I tried downloading the pic of him, but I couldn't do it through the program it was in. So, when I get him I'll take pics of him and show you. Although my camera doesn't do any justice. Natalie

LOL.. sounds like my wife when we got our 1st Betta and had to wait for the tank to cycle. This little guy is in for some spoiling from the moment you open his box I think. Just please, please don't knock the delivery guy over getting your RJ.

I am going through the same thing you went through with that one person. I asked to ship it USPS express and he gave me priority.Its been 2 days now and it shoulda been here today.He is in RI and I am in NJ we are basically right next to eachother. I dont know what to do if he dont show up tomorrow.

We will just pray that he shows up healthy and alive. Did you ask him why he didn't send him express? I would've gave him H E double hockey sticks for not doing what you asked. What is wrong with these people. Why don't they listen to you when you tell them you want someting done a ceratin way Is it really that hard to do? Do you know if he put a heat pack in the package? I'd imagine it's really cold in New Jersey and in Road Island right now. Hopefully you'll get him sometime today or tomorrow. Let us know if you do. Did this guy have good feedback? I'm assuming you bought it off ebay or aquabid. Natalie

It comes with free heatpack. The temps not that bad. Around in the 50's. Got him on aquabid and his feed back was 329/329. I just think the dont want to do it because they are lazy and stubborn. I will et you know what happens tomorrow. Our mail comes once a day by mail truck.

I hope so too. Did the tracking # say if he's shipped it yet and if so, where the package is now? Like Natalie, I also would like to know why he would ship priority, even that close. How can anyone think priority is a good way to ship a live animal? Poor Bettas - too many people that don't care for their lives. I wish you well with this seller & getting your fish alive & well.

Well, at least you can make sure he knows to send your new fish by overnight & not priority. It stinks to have to wait a few weeks for him tho and I wonder about those emails that mysteriously never make it. <wink,wink>

I wrote to him that my mom can get them on monday if she stays here and waits. I showed her how to acclimate them so things should be fine.

Cool.. that's nice of her. We have to go on a trip for a couple weeks & got my mom to feed ours but she's not got time for much else so we're trying to set everything up as best we can to make it through the 2-weeks, doing a last minute cleaning/water change and hopefully can get her to do a water change on one of the 2 days the fish don't get fed.. and although she doesn't see the need, we hope she'll take time to talk to each Betta some every day.

We gotta find us a fish-addict here in our town.

If he sent you that receipt of payment through ebay you would have definitely received it. I'm guessing you didn't receive that email from him. That's probably because he never sent it to you. At least you know why he's not there yet because he didn't send him out yet. I hope you get him safe and sound.

I'll be receiving RJ some time Saturday and the weather will be much cooler, so I don't even know if they will be packing an ice pack in the package. I've been gving them weather reports between yesterday and today for Friday and Saturday. :P I'm sure they appreciate me doing that so they know how the weather is going to be those days. We are supposed to be having thunderstorms for the rest of the week and the high's are supposed to be in the 70's if it even reaches that high with the rain. Today was pretty dreary all day and I don't even think it reached 70. I think it remained in the upper 60's all day.If they really want they could even pack a heat pack in or both. I don't care. I told them I'm leaving it up to them, since they know what to do better in these types of weather conditions. I trust them to make the right choice. They've been in the business long enough.

I can't wait until he comes!! I'm so excited! Natalie
