End of the road and a new beginning for Spikey
For the past couple days I'v been madly researching SW tanks once again and asked my parents if I could turn my 5.5 into SW since a couple months back getting another 10 gallon and making it SW was a no.* So I thought it over and decided I would try putting spikey in the 29 because, before I came here I had put my old betta in my my 29 and the angels and guppies didn't bother him and the angels hang out under the filter where spikey can't go, the guppies are to busy bothering the females to bother the betta and I have caves that my last betta loved along with some floating and tall plants.* So I tried it last night and watched him for an hour under the moonlight then went to bed.* Woke up early this morning and watched him again under the moonlight then under normal light.* Angels have seen him and don't bother him, a guppy swam up and when he got too close to spikeys new found territory he flared and the guppy swam away and started going after the females again and spikey turned back to watching me.* I then did some homework and he mostly watched me do my hw and explored his caves.* I'm thinking it should turn out all right since his territory has hardly any current which is why I put the caves there for him.*We have figured out a way to feed him his normal food too, he comes to the left of my breeder box where there is no curent whatsoever and I drop in the pellets/peas/bloodworms, he's already eaten last night and this morning. Let me know what you think, I know it's not advised but I decided I would try it since I expierenced no problems last time, though i know every betta is different.
