i am letting you guys out there with bettas know... always have a lid on your tank - bettas are really good jumpers and will jump out any hole they can fit through! i have had many friends tell me about betta deaths because they had no lid and the fish jumped to its death! please care for our finned friends and put a lid on ur tank please. this is serious life or death business!

Yes, as most here know, I just lost a Betta through a 3/4" hole in the top of the tank. It is good advice. Thank you for sharing.

yeah- i am sorry - its a tradgic thing to loose a pet - i just recently losy my betta, Aqua, it was horrible. and MERRY CHRISTMAS to u too!
