Wanting more!!

I have seriously got this fish bug now

I have a really tiny flat but I'd really like another small tank... I don't plan to put any other fish in with Hamish.

What is the smallest tank you could go to & what could I put in there? I was thinking of someminnows but it says they need quite a large tank too.... guess that rules out everything!? Can you keep anything in a 15 litre for example?

I wish I had a bigger flat!!!!!!!!! GRR!

Pretty much the only thing to put in a 15 liter, (I calculated that to be about 3 gallons) is a couple ghost shrimp or another betta.

That really is a small tank, and I agree with the above poster there really is not much you can put in there but a Betta. The tank would be much too small for minnows.
I think that the smallest tank you can get away with that can hold a number of fish would be a 10g tank (37-38L or so). Which really would not take up a lot of room.

I'm not sure what kind of room you have but you may want to look into the non-std shaped tanks. A corner tank might be a better option (we all have dead corner's that aren't being used). They tend to be surprisingly roomy do to their depth. Or another option would be to look into the realm of wall or table tanks. However those may be a bit pricy...
Good luck!

a little corner table with a 3 - 6 Gallon corner or cylinder tank would be pretty cool!

My flat is rubbish! Its a studio so I have no bedroom, if I did have a bedroom I'd have another Betta already

I don't think I could go smaller, I'd feel bad while Hamish is lording it up in a 34 litre tank all to himself... I will keep thinking!

Wow cool ideas..... Hamish's tank is already on a stand with a cupboard... I mite have to wait til I meet my dream man & he buys me a big house which I can fill with fish tanks

Grr now I keep dreaming about getting another Betta boy & calling him Dexter! haha

Oh, indulge! You obviously love bettas, why not get one? Wait to do the whole community tank thing until you have a big enough place to do it right.
