I was thinking about how Winter's right eye is bigger than his left, but since it's been that way for a very long time it can't be popeye... and then realised that his pectoral fin on that side is larger than the other one as well... Is it possible for betta to turn out 'lopsided'?
In the pics you should be able to see what I mean about the different sized fins...

It's possible yes....It may have been a birth defect...I have some babies here with one ventral shorter than the other...I also have a male with Pectoral fins that are abnormally large...This is what make them so special and unique ...

funny b/c my new betta has a lopsided pectoral fin as well, his right fin long than the left.oh ya his eyes are ok

My betta is like that, I thought it was finrot, but its never gotten worse or betta, so I think he's just like that... it's not surprising if hes got some weird aspects though, he came out of one of those cups just shoved on a wall...
