Hi guys,

I changed Hamish's water a little while ago & I'm just a bit worried because the new water I put in must have been a smidge warmer & his temperature is showing as being up by 1 degree. I kno it'll come back down again - but I also changed him from Aquasafe to StressCoat cos of his ragged fin & I'm a bit worried these 2 sudden changes will upset him?

Will he be ok? I kno sudden temp changes stress them but how much is too much? Its only slight.... its only the 3rd time I've changed him & I've managed to get it spot on both the other times!!

I wouldn't worry about a 1 degree temperature change.
You're fine switching conditioners, Hamish won't know the difference.

I hope he heals quickly.

Oh thank god! I was really worried! Its still within the safe range on the thermometre its only gone from 26 to 27... Phew!! Thanks!

That temp change should be ok, it's common after a water change.

Thanks guys - he's perfectly happy this morning. I wasn't sure how much of a change was too much...
