Please share your ideas for Betta playground

I went to all known LFS/Pet Stores looking for hamster/rodent mazes and plastic only alike assemblies. No luck. I am looking for your tried ideas on betta entertainment. I am experimenting with several plastic items, some seem to work, others are frankly ignored.

The main target is a 20gal Betta Sorority tank, but ideas for smaller tanks are welcomed, as my males would be grateful to Fishlore (2.5, 3.5, 5.5gal).

Well, you could put their favorite food on a little plastic hook and keep moving it when the betta trys to get it. I have not tried this but I have just came up with it. I think it will work. Hope this helps!

Hi Pepe Your bettas will like anything they can swim around through or under. I had a glass hurricane lamp globe in Prissy's tank. She loved it. Clay pots can be little caves. As csn almost anything terra cotta.
Some bettas like bubbles to play in.
It really depends on the particular betta.

lots and lots of plants...
Coolie likes to stalk his otto, the otto's learned that if he goes still and doesn't move Coolie will swim right by. It's a cute form of entertainment.
I'm afraid that when if comes to entertainment i don't know what else to offer. I suppose any sory of tubes/piping they they could swim through would be appricenated.

Ping pong balls! One of my bettas pushes it around the top of the water.

Ping pong balls are great forums of betta entertainment

PVC Piping works just grab a few "random" pieces all different sizes and shapes then structure them and your betta will love it

Here is a link that may help with other forms of entertainment:http://www.ehow.com/how_2264630_ente...etta-fish.html

Hope that helps
