Hi everyone,
Not sure if everyone knew or not, but I lost Murray a few days ago
I really believe he was sick when I got him. I called the
LFS and he said that he would credit me another one. SO, I went there and took my time this time. I even, before going, looked up on line to see what to look out for, as far as, health of the fish. I learned a lot too! I took a good 30 minutes before I decided on this guy. He is soooo much different then what Murray was. He is active, curious and loves for us to sit next to the tank. He has eaten every time I have fed him as well. I think if I left my finger in the tank, he might even come take a nibble. Everytime I put in a couple of pellets, he is right there waiting for them!
I did get another filter as someone suggested. I got the Whisper 2-10 gal filter and it is working like a champ. This filter is extremely quiet too! I also bought another heater, one that has controls on it. It is in the mail and will get here hopefully in a few days. Don't worry though, there is a different heater in there now.
My new
betta is blue and has brownish on the head. He has LONG flowing fins that are gorgous in my opinion
He has red peaking through the blue on his fins. VERY handsome male I have. and seems very healthy. I catch myself watching him. He hasnt created a bubble nest yet. There are verrrry tiny bubbles along the top of the water surface, but I am assuming those are from the filter. He has blown a few bigger bubbles though.
