Does anybody know the correct ratio of male/female betta imbellis?

I googled it and got different answers.

I had mine as a pair, and they seemed to be doing well, very little aggression, and were spawning every couple of weeks. I've heard a higher female to male ratio is ideal, and would think you really wouldn't want more males than females, but seems equal to more females works.

I'd agree. The wilds that I've kept always had more females than males and aggression, etc. wasn't a problem.

Have either of you tried imbellis in a community tank?

Thats where mine will be going very soon
