all homeless need is money to thrive,,,,,,
fish on the other hand are pets and they have to do what you want them to do. they survive bc u want them to survive, happy or not we dont kno! they swimm up and down fast or slow, thats all they can do and eat, yep there is a huge difference between humans and pets.
Homeless people aren't all homeless by choice. Some people are sick or just can't get the help. That was a very narrow minded statement. Which says a lot.
If you can't tell if a fish is happy or sad then you are in the wrong hobby and in for the wrong reasons. Pets are for our enjoyment not for us to what we want with. They are NOT toys or things to play with and do what you want with.
I am sorry but where I come from people "respect" their pets, cats, dogs and fish . Learn to do what best for them. We try to imitate their natural habitat. I hate to tell you this but all living creatures have feelings if you can't see that then you are definitely not getting the most out of the hobby.

I agree, I have been trying to keep an open mind for this thread, but Allie made an excellent call on this one... all living things, whether they be pets, wild animals, or people....need to be respected

Good question....I was wondering the same thing.....The water looked rather nasty and cloudy....

This whole thread is disturbing.....Starting with the fish and ending with the "homeless" comment....I agree with Allie, ALL living things have feelings.....This is why I try and treat my fish like one of the family and provide the best care possible.....
